Disneyland day #2

Disneyland day #2 was our earliest day in the park. The park opened at 8:00am, but with a pass we had, we were able to get in 1 hour early, so 7am, we were walking through the front gates. We headed for space mountain first, then Finding Nemo, Autopia and then off to fairytale land to hit as many rides as possible...and ride rides we did. we got in nearly everything we wanted to ride before the lines really started getting long. After that we did all the fast track passes and by the end of the day we had nearly rode every ride between both parks. This was also the day we got to have brunch at Surf's Up with Mickey Mouse and all his friends. Madeline on the Under the Sea merry-go-round.
Chase, waiting patiently for the rest of the family to come out of the Indiana Jones ride.
Chase with his favorite character, Minnie Mouse. She joined him while we were waiting at Surf's Up. The meal was so delicious!!!
More time spent in Toon Town, riding the Who Framed Roger Rabbit ride and the kids roller coaster.
family was caught hanging out in Goofy's car, outside his house.
Tea Pots...this pictures was taken as I was spinning in my pot and the kids were spinning in their pot (pretty nice camera if I do say so myself)
More spinning fun in the tea pots.
Chase so excited to drive his own "car". He took us for a spin in Autopia

Happy Birthday Mark!!

One year older and wiser too, happy birthday to you!!

Mark turned 41 years old on Saturday, March 3. He started the day off by doing 41 minutes of burpees with a full push up. Then the day was ready to start...and a whirlwind it was. There was a family baptism, cheer leading to watch, basketball to watch, presents, cake, and then a date night. We were able to have a nice dinner, just the 2 of us, at Tucano's (Brazilian steakhouse). We enjoyed the food and the peacefulness of the night.

Dineyland Day #1 continued

Our first night at Disneyland continued well into the dark. After the birthday celebration, we hit more rides and then ventured into Toon Town. Here we toured all the houses and even found Mickey at his house. After a long day in the park we went back to the hotel, hit the beds and crashed thinking of getting up early for our next day.

Birthday celebration at Disneyland

We decided instead of throwing Madeline a birthday party with friends this year, we would just celebrate it as a family while we were in Disneyland. the park has a birthday celebration daily where you go to the Garden Inn and there you decorate your own birthday cake, get entertained by Mr. Pat E. Cake himself and then get to "party" with Mickey and Minnie. Here are some shots of the big birthday bash.
